February 16 is my cousin’s birthday. Two days after Valentines Day. He is turning nine. He went to skate city like he always does. The theme of his birthday was like transformers I think. Our goal was to have fun.
When we got there was a table with his gifts on it. I went with my sister to get our skates to skate. When we got our skates on we went out on the rank. When everyone got there we skated for about ten fifteen minuets.
Then we went to sing happy birthday. We had cake and ice cream, and then he opens his gifts.
After all that we went skating again. Cody picked out a song. He picked out his favorite. (Does your chain hang low.) After the party they give out free passes to skate city. That’s what I did at skate city.

My Trip to Huston Hannah
6th grade
Mr. Ferrell

First, my brother is at college and we have to go pick him up. We are going to turn this into a vacation. My whole family wants to go with us. We left at 9:00 O’clock at night. We did this so the kids could sleep through the car ride. It takes about twelve hours and thirty minuets to get there.
Next, on the way there I saw a lot of cool things. Yet it was dark out we still saw a lot of cool things like a big man sitting in a chair just like the picture on the back of a penny. It was pretty cool seeing that on the highway. That’s all I remember from the drive because I feel asleep.
Then when we got there a really bad storm was starting. I saw a lot of people on the street with signs saying I need food, or I need money. It’s really cool being somewhere else and seeing all the different. We where a little late of his graduation but it was pretty cool any way.
On Sunday we went to a beach.When we went down to the beach I got a lot of sea shells on the beach. We were there for along time. When we were done I had over one hundred shells. It was really fun.
The next day we left in the morning because people had to work. That was my vacation to Huston, Texas.

Lesson 14 – Brian’s Winter

1. Why was Brian nervous about the coming of winter?
Brian was nervous for winter because it was hard to hunt in the winter and it would be harder to find warmth.

2. If Betty hadn’t come to Brian’s rescue during the bear’s visit, what might have happened If betty hadent come, the bear would of hurt brian evan worse.

3. Based on what you know about the outdoors, do the events in this story seem believable? Explain.yes I think the events are believable because a bear was hungry and attacked Brian and the skunk sprayed when it got scared.

4. What theme does the relationship between Brian and Betty suggest?
the theme between Brian and Betty is confusing, but if you have to catagorize it they would be acquaintances .

5. Write a paragraph that describes what Brian’s actions in the wilderness reveal about his character. Use details from the story to support your answer.
Brian, in the story is smart, willing, generous, and caring. His acquaintance Betty is always asking for food so he feeds her generously and willing. Also when he made the arrows he was smart to do so, and he kept practicing shooting the arrows too.

                                                          House on fire

             Braking news!! Someone’s house is on fire. This is at a duplex. This had started in this person’s garage. When I got there the fire was gone and the house was black all over. I saw two helicopters going in circles and the car. The cars front had melted. There were fire fighters every where.

               When the family was in the house getting most of the stuff that was still good out of the burned house. The house was dark. I did not like being upstairs at all. The coffee table by the garage had little bubbles. Later on when they were fixing the house the in side of the house was all white. So we went in side. The basement was cold said my mom. I did not go down there because I don’t feel safe at all in that house. When they were done the duplex was done some of the rooms were bigger. Now new people live   

In the duplex.

Once upon a time there was a baby grizzly bear named kaitlyn. She was always being teased by her brothers because she wasn’t good at hunting. She was the runt out of the group. Kaitlyn was black with a little bit of brown here and there with short stubby tail.
On Friday Kaitlyn was outside trying to play with her brothers and saw a squirrel and ran for the animal. She grabbed it trying to run back but as she was running she fumbled it. when kaitlyn got home she looked like she was in a fight. When her mom saw her she was frightened. ”what happened”!? Kaitlyn just looked at her with a confused face. It was Wednesday and Kaitlyn was outside and once again she see’s an animal. But this time it was a fox. She lunged for it like it was her whole life. She was not going to give up this time.

She was lost. Kaitlyn didn’t know what to do. She decided to walk around until she found an opening. Kaitlyn did not find an opening but she did find some kind of dome made out of sticks and leaves. She saw the fox again but she didn’t care at all. But yet she was a little hungry. Kaitlyn started surveying where she was. She was by a mountain and a river. Kaitlyn decided to sleep for the night and then start in the morning so she can get a good night sleep. It was 7:45 in the morning. When she woke up she could hear a lot of animals making noise. She tumbled out of her dome shape thing. Kaitlyn was getting very hungry so she decided to practice her hunting. Since she was by a river she is going to catch fish. There it came the first fish of the day. She attacked one by one she was starting a small pile. When the she was done she started walking. (Two days later). She said, I’m hungry, tired, and sick. Kaitlyn looked around because this place looked very familiar. It was the way home! She was ecstatic because she was home!! When she got inside everyone was happy to see her they gave her a big bear hug. She will always remember that adventure.
